Simon Takashvili
Simon Takashvili received the legal education at Tbilisi State University Law Faculty in 2009-2013. In 2015 he graduated from the Master Program of the same University. Currently, Simon is the Ph.D. student of Tbilisi State University.
In December 2013, he has successfully passed the qualifying bar examination in private law and since 2015 he is a member of Georgian Bar Association.
In different times Simon was a holder of the scholarship of University, British American Tobacco (BAT), Notary Chamber of Georgia and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. In 2017 Simon visited “Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law” also, he took part several teaching courses organized by Swedish Institute and Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
Simon has published about 20 articles on various problematic legal issues. Also, he is a co-author of the new commentary of Georgian Civil Code.
From 2016 up to date Simon is a Visiting Lecturer at Caucasus University School of Law. From 2017 up to date he is a Visiting Lecturer at Tbilisi State University Faculty of Law and from 2018 Simon is an assistant at Grigol Robakidze University School of Law.
Since 2014 he serves as a Senior Associate at J & T Consulting.
Simon’s professional interests are: International Private law, Arbitration and Investment Law; employment law, corporate and banking law.
