Levan Janashia
Levan Janashia is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and an adjunct professor at Tbilisi Free University; In 2005-2013, he also worked at the Caucasus Law School and the University of Georgia. In 2005-2007, he led lecture courses at the German-language Faculty of Law and Economics.
Since 2004, Levan Janashia has been a member of Georgian Bar Association and has been practicing law since then. He is also an expert of the training center of the Georgian Bar Association. At various times, he worked as an advocate in KS international law firm \\\\\\\"Gabisonia, Dietrich and Partners\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"Gabisonia and Partners\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"J&T Consulting\\\\\\\", and “FLS” law firm in the positions of advocate, managing partner and director. Over the course of his legal practice, he was involved in and concluded dozens of court cases in favor of the client. He has thirteen years of experience of representing clients in courts, state organizations and agencies.
Since 2010, he has been the chairman of \\\\\\\"Tbilisi Arbitration Institute\\\\\\\" LLC. He has resolved over 2,000 cases during the arbitration practice.
Since 2011, he has been the academic director of the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Since 2018, he has been the chairman of the Association of Mediators of Georgia.
Levan Janashia is the author of several scientific articles and co-author of the Contract Law Handbook (USAID/JILEP).
